Meet JD Terry, Lone Oak's Owner and Principal Builder.

JD didn’t learn to build from a textbook. He learned in a garage, side by side with his dad, restoring antique cars long before he was old enough to drive. That’s where he developed patience, problem-solving skills and an uncompromising standard for getting things right. It’s still how he approaches every build today.
Before turning his full focus to residential construction, JD spent years in the oil and gas industry. He holds a degree in Industrial Safety, and that background is embedded in how Lone Oak operates: structured, disciplined, and intentional from the ground up.
Today, JD is the one ensuring every home is built the way it should be. He’s on site. He’s in the details. And he’s personally involved from the first dig to the final walkthrough. Clients trust him because he’s direct, accountable, and fully invested in the outcome.
For JD, luxury isn’t about flash. It’s about precision, structural integrity, and homes built to stand the test of time—on paper, on site, and long after the keys are handed over.
